First Plane Trip with the new Lungs!

I finally got to take my first plane trip with my new lungs last week! I was able to go to California!! I was super excited (and a lot paranoid) because I LOVE California, but what I didn't know was what was in store for my new lungs, immunssants and my paranoia of the plane/airport combination.

California as awesome, my mom and I traveled there to see one of my good friends from high school graduate from the University of Southern California. It was really cool to see the campus as I had just gotten to see my best friend at Washington State the weekend before. Quite a difference in size but both schools were incredibly nice.

The USC campus reminded me of a little town, a very fancy little town, and the area that beginning of the graduation took place where the main speaker spoke held a TON of people in the streets inside the campus outdoors. (I was just about as far back as one could be. Lol)

That said, for the traveling part, I wore a mask through the airport both ways, the entire flight, as well as any busses that we had to take to get to parking or the rental car or things like that. We decided to get a really fun car, just because, and boy did we have fun!! (Bummer I didn't get any better photos of it… but oh well) 2011 Camaro :)

So my friend Rachel had parties, mini graduations, and lots of dinners leaving us a day to "site-see" and take her out to dinner on our own. That day we just hung out at Venice Beach which is always a lot of fun, I love that place. Then we ate and walked around Hollywood, another place I love.

1st Plane trip with new lungs = SUCCESS!
